GNSS console / Web Serial

Your receiver is listening to the sky. Let's read it.

Connect a GNSS receiver straight to this page. Satellites, signal strength, position scatter, precise time and the raw NMEA stream, all decoded in your browser.

No hardware to hand? The simulator streams a realistic multi-constellation NMEA feed so you can explore every panel.

  1. Step 1

    Plug in the receiver

Any GNSS module that shows up as a USB serial port and speaks NMEA 0183 works. Prolific, FTDI, CH340, CP210x and u-blox are all fine.

  2. Step 2

    Pick the port

The browser shows its own chooser, so the page never sees a device you did not approve. On macOS look for a name like cu.PL2303G-USBtoUART.

  3. Step 3

    Watch the sky

Sentences are checksum-verified and decoded locally. Nothing leaves your machine, there is no server in the loop.
